We are open but with restricted availability due to Covid-19. We aim to have the houses unoccupied for three days after a guest has left. We also deep clean at every changeover using approved disinfectant. If you have any concerns we are happy to speak to you direct.

Cottiscarth Cottages is the ideal location for your stay in Orkney. They sit in a central location just 20 minutes away from the main towns of Kirkwall and Stromness and just 10 minutes away from the World Heritage site “The Heart of Neolithic Orkney”. The village of Finstown is just 4 miles away. The elevated position means they also look out over Kirkwall Bay which is a busy shipping lane. The accommodation is part of an organic farm and RSPB nature reserve which is a regular nesting site for Hen Harriers.

The newly established accomodation comprises of one three bedroom cottage and two 2 bedroom units, all built around a courtyard, which can be booked individually or as a group. Some rooms have single beds which can be locked together to make a super king, making the accomodation ideal for your holiday.
