Key Responsibilities:
The starting salary is £32,060.04 increasing to £37,717.70 on successful completion of training. An annual shift allowance of £3,245.76 is also paid in 12 monthly instalments.
This role is working a rotational shift pattern, Sunday - Saturday. The position does also have a call-out and standby requirement.
This is a 12 Month FTC role.
The Airfield Operator is responsible for carrying out day to day operational tasks safely, effectively and efficiently.
Airfield Operator tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Loading refuelling vehicles and refuelling aircraft
- Driving
- Being compliant with all company & legislated Health & Safety requirement
- Checking documentation
- Using high cost mobile & fixed equipment
- Sampling fuel
- Maintaining stock records
- General site housekeeping duties
The Airfield Operator is responsible for performing all tasks in accordance with the site Operating Standards, Safety Management System (SMS) & JIG.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Health & Safety awareness
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Team player

Desirable:
- Previous refuelling experience
- Airfield experience
