Experience Orkney's Viking Age around a campfire on the beach, with storytelling, craft activities, mini axe throwing, and fun, led by expert guides from Orkney Time Travel.

Step back into the Viking Age at the fabulous sandy beach of Scapa just outside of Kirkwall. Living history guided tour with samples of historical food, storytelling and activities around the campfire.

What did Vikings eat? What does it feel like to drink from a horn? Come and find out! You will get the opportunity to bake your own Viking bread and make your own butter to top it.

Around the campfire you will enjoy storytelling, play a Viking game, and learn Viking skills such as fire lighting, rune writing and rope braiding or weaving techniques.
