Join local RSPB staff at The Loons hide in Birsay to spot some wonderful wildfowl.

The hide at The Loons RSPB reserve is undoubtedly one of Orkney's best birdwatching spots. Meet up with local experts from the RSPB and you could be watching wildfowl such as shovelers and waders, including snipe, within seconds! Other species including flocks of Greenland white-fronted geese and water rail could be on show too.

Teas and coffees will be on offer too. What's not to like!
