Join artist and sculptor Jenny Pope on Zoom for a talk about how Stromness Museum’s collection has inspired her art project Buoyancy in Unprecedented Times.

Followed by a tour of the winter exhibition Seaweed Secrets, which features some of Jenny’s experimental sculptural forms.

Jenny’s work takes inspiration from floating structures such as boats, buoys and seaweed. Her work deals with themes such as the climate and biodiversity crises and encourages people to remain resilient in the face of unprecedented times.
